Bangladesh confirmed 54 more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Monday, taking the tally to 13,172.

Besides, 3,050 people have newly been infected with the virus in the same period. The total number of Covid-19 cases stood at 829,972.

The positivity rate rose to 14.8 percent after testing 20,602 samples in over 500 labs across the country, said a handout of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday afternoon.
