Bangladesh confirmed 43 more Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours till Saturday 8:00am, taking the country's death toll to 12,801.

However, the fatality rate remained unchanged at 1.58%, according to the data provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, 1,447 more people were infected with Covid-19 in the period, which took the case count to 809,314.

The current positivity rate is 11.03 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.42 percent.

A total of 13,115 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours (till 8am today).
