Air Vice Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan has been appointed as chief of Bangladesh Air Force with a promotion to Air Marshal.
Shaikh Abdul Hannan, who will succeed Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, will take over as the new BAF chief on June 12 and continue in the post for three years, a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) directorate said on Tuesday.
Air Vice Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan will be promoted to Air Marshal rank with effect from June 12, 2021 afternoon.
He will remain Air Chief for three years — from June 12, 2021 afternoon to June 12, 2024 afternoon.
