After five successive earthquakes hit Sylhet on Saturday, another earthquake jolted the district on Sunday morning.
The earthquake, measuring 2.8 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt at 4:35am.Earlier on Saturday, five moderate earthquakes jolted different parts of Sylhet.
The quakes were felt at 3 degree on Richter Scale at 10.36 am, 4.1 degree on Richter scale at 10:50 am, 2.8 degree at 11.30 am and 4 degree 01.58 pm.
It originated with border area of Sylhet but the epicentre could not be identified.
However, no casualty was reported.
