Quake hits Sylhet again

After five successive earthquakes hit Sylhet on Saturday, another earthquake jolted the district on Sunday morning.

The earthquake, measuring 2.8 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt at 4:35am.

Earlier on Saturday, five moderate earthquakes jolted different parts of Sylhet.

The quakes were felt at 3 degree on Richter Scale at 10.36 am, 4.1 degree on Richter scale at 10:50 am, 2.8 degree at 11.30 am and 4 degree 01.58 pm.

It originated with border area of Sylhet but the epicentre could not be identified.

However, no casualty was reported.
