Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque’s mother Fouzia Maleque has been put on life support at AMZ Hospital in Dhaka.

Health Ministry’s public relations officer Maidul Islam disclosed this information on Thursday.    

He said, “Fouzia Maleque (mother of Health Minister) has been suffering from old age complications. For the last few days, her Asthama problem increased. She had recovered from Covid-19 infection. But she has post-Covid complciations.”

The health minister sought blessings from all for his mother, Maidul added.
