Bangladesh set Sri Lanka to chase 247 in 2nd ODI

Bangladesh scored 246 for all wickets playing 48.1 over against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

Bangladesh ace batsman Mushfiqur Rahim picked up his eighth ODI hundred scoring 125 off 127 balls.

The host country have handed a debut to Shoriful Islam, by leaving out Taskin Ahmed and Mosaddek Hossain replaces Mohammad Mithun. Sri Lanka are unchanged.

The Tigers are currently 1-0 up in the series after winning the opening game by 33 runs that also ended their 10-match winless streak across format on Sunday.

The victory in the first match meant the hosts now have two opportunities to complete their first-ever ODI series win against the Sri Lankans, which they couldn’t do in their previous eight bilateral ODI series (six defeats, two draws).
