At least eight people were injured in clashes between two seperate groups over collection of money and sermon at Eid congregation in Shailkupa of Jhenaidah. 

One of the incidents took place at Khudra Rayera in Shailkupa upazila on Friday morning over money collection in Eid jamaat. The incident left six people injured. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

On the other hand, two people were injured in another clash between two groups over a mistake in the sermon after Eid Jamaat at Mingram of the same upazila.

The injured were rescued and admitted to Shailkupa Upazila Health Complex for treatment.
