Rapid Action Battalion has arrested FIR accused Saidul Islam Alias Shaku, 45, in connection with the Mitu murder case.

The elite force arrested him from Ranirhat Bazar area of Rangunia upazila at around 10:00am in connection with the newly filed Mitu murder case.

A murder case was filed by Mitu's -- wife of former SP Babul Akter -- father earlier Wednesday.

Confirming the news, RAB Hathazari Camp Commander Major Mushfiq said he will be handed over to Panchlaish police station later.
