Closure of land border with India extends for 14 days

The closure of Bangladesh land border with India has extended for another two weeks due to surge in Covid-19.
Operation of freight vehicles will continue, although movement of passengers from India will remain halted.
The decision came from a virtual meeting presided over by Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen on Saturday.
Sources present at the meeting confirmed the information, according to media report.
