BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is receiving treatment at the CCU of the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for Covid-19 infection, has now been suffering from uncontrolled diabetes and shortness of breathe.
According to physicians, these are the post-covid complications.Sources said on Wednesday that fluid was removed from Khaleda Zia's lungs. Her diabetes is not under control completely. It's levels are being fluctuated. Besides, the Oxygen level has also decreased slightly.
Doctors informed that Khaleda Zia's diabetes had been under control for one year. Earlier, the level of her diabetes was between 8 and 10 points. But it has been increasing from 16 to 18 points for the last two to three days. Sometimes, that is exceeding 20 points. As a result, she needs to stay at CCU of the hospital for few more days.
