Leader of the Opposition in parliament Raushan Ershad was admitted to a hospital in the capital on Thursday night.

The Opposition leader is now undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Mamun Hasan, her assistant private secretary confirmed the matter to media.

The 77-year-old chief patron of Jatiya Party was admitted to hospital around 9:00pm with dehydration, he added.

Quoting doctors at the hospital, Mamun said Raushan is doing well at currently.
