Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will have to be offered in mosque

Like previous year, the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will have to be offered in the mosque in a bid to check the spread of coronavirus or Covid-19 infection. 

Eidgah or open spaces cannot be used for Eid congregation.

A directive was issued in this regard by the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Monday.

Earlier, the minsitry concerned had directed that a maximum of 20 people can take part in every waqt prayers at mosque due to the rise of  Covid-19.

In the wake of Corona situation, it was notified that this directive will be valid for performing prayers in the mosque from April 14 until further notification.
