Ban on flights on int'l, domestic routes from April 21 to 28 extended

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has extended the ban on regular flights on international and domestic routes from April 21 to April 28 due to ongoing lockdown.
The information was revealed in a notification signed by Captain Chowdhury M Zia ul Kabir, Flight Standard and Operations Member Group of CAAB, on Monday.
The notification said that as per the guidelines and instructions of the government, the ban on international flights from all countries of the world and Bangladesh has been extended till April 28.
Meanwhile, a separate notification said that the ban on domestic flights would be extended for the same period.
However, special flights will be operated to transport migrant workers to four countries in the Middle East and Singapore, said a source close to CAAB.
