Popular film actor Mesbahuddin Ahmed Wasim will be buried at Banani graveyard in the capital following his second namaj-e-janaza on Sunday afternoon.
His first namaj-e-janaza will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Zohr prayers today (Sunday).Zayed Khan, general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association, confirmed the matter.
Earlier, renowned actor Wasim died at Dhaka’s Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital around 12:30am on Sunday.
He was 71 years old, and was suffering from various old-age ailments.
The folk and fantasy action hero was away from the limelight for quite a while.
Wasim debuted in the film industry as an Assistant Director in "Chondo Hariye".
His acting debut came later in "Rater Por Din".He has been featured in over 150 films in his illustrious career, including "Raj Dulari", "Imaan", "Daku Monshur", "Bedin", "Norom Gorom" and "Bahadur".
