Former Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director M A Gafur died with Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Rangpur on Friday.
He breathed his last at the Dedicated Corona Isolation Hospital in Rangpur. He was 76.
Dr. S M Nurun Nabi, caretaker of the isolation unit, confirmed the matter.
M A Gafur, a life-term member of Rangpur Diabetes Association. He was also former general secretary of Rangpur district sports association.
He was diagnosed with Covid-19 and admitted to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital on April 2.
