Jubo Mohila League General Secretary Apu Ukil tested positive for novel coronavirus on Saturday.

Apu Ukil herself confirmed the news to media.

"I've been sick for a few days, and today my coronavirus test came out positive," she said on Saturday.

The former reserved-seat MP urged all to be cautious about the pandemic, and pray for her.

Earlier, her husband and Awami League's Cultural Affairs Secretary Ashim Kumar Ukil MP contracted the virus.
