President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina lamented death of former President of Jatiya Press Club and Executive Editor of the Daily Ittefaq Hasan Shariar.

In separate messages, they prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Hasan Shariar breathed his last at Impulse Hospital in the capital around 11.30am on Saturday.
