National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 has recommended the government to impose total lockdown for two weeks as the number of coronavirus infection and death has been increasing alarmingly in the country.

If two-week lockdown is not enforced especially in city corporation areas, it will not be possible for the governent to control the new variant of the dreaded coronavirus, the committee observed.
