A 17-strong body of Apex Bangladesh led by national president Bhubon Lal Bharoti takes oath

National Association of Apex Club of Bangladesh, an international service club and member of WOCO Foundation and Apex Global, held the 45th national convention on Friday.

Held at the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) auditorium in the capital, the convention attended by national cricketer and former president of Apex Bangladesh and life governor SM Rakibul Hasan as the chief guest.

M Sayem Tipu, former international director of the organisation, presided over the convention.

Hailing from different parts of the country, around 300 members under 75 clubs attended the event.

Former national president Engineer TK Baroi Tarun, Abdur Rouf Dilip, Ramiz Uddin, Anisuzzaman Shatil, Hasan Ferdous Jewel, Chandan Das, Jashim Uddin, and MA Kaiyuum Chowdhury were also present on the occasion.

A 17-member committee of Apex Bangladesh led by national president Bhubon Lal Bharoti took oath. Ruhul Mayeen Chowdhury was sworn in as national vice-president, Nurul Amin Chowdhury as NIRD, Mohammad Alamgir as NYCD, Ezaz Mahmud Rony as NSD, Masudur Rahman as NAD, Md Anwar Hossain as NED, Abdur Rahim Rony as district governor-1, Khairul Alam Shahin as governor-2, Ismail Hossain Md Shawkat Ali as governor-3, GD Rumu as governor-4, Adnan Hossain Ani as governor-5, Md Nazrul Islam as governor-6, Mithun Karnain as governor-7, Siraj Uddin Shahin as governor-8 and Halim Raz as governor-9.

Md Rafikul Islam has become national secretary and Jemam Ahmed national treasurer.
