Midfielder Rakib Hossain, who was a part of 36-member Bangladesh team for Nepal tour, tested positive for COVID-19 a day before of the flight on Wednesday.
Bangladesh team manager Iqbal Hossain told the reporters that the midfielder underwent test again and they were now eyeing on his second test report."He has tested again. We will be confirmed after getting his second test report," he added. The report is expected to be come late night. Rakib is currently in isolation in the Hotel InterContinental where the rest of the team members are staying.
Bangladesh will play two games of Tri-Nation Tournament against Kyrgyzstan U-23s and hosts Nepal on March 23 and 27 while the final will be held on March 29, all at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
