Police dominate in both men’s and women’s events

Bangladesh Police Handball Club clinched successive victories in the ongoing Walton Independence Day Handball Competition as they beat Bangladesh Ansar and VDP by 37-31 points in their second match at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Monday.
Bangladesh Police earlier beat Chapainawabganj district by 43-21 points in their opening match on Sunday.
Border Guard Bangladesh won their opening match of the competition as they beat Chapainawabganj district by 46-21 points at the same venue.
In the women’s section, Bangladesh Police beat Nasrul Hamid Sports Academy by 56-8 points while Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated Jamalpur Sports Academy by 37-21 points to book their places in the final.
Both Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Ansar and VDP earlier won their respective opening day matches on Sunday.
