A man was killed after a truck hit his motorcycle in Khilkhet area of the capital on Thursday morning.
He was identified as Ashik Abdullah Helal, 42, was in-charge of a security company, son of Abdul Karim, hailing from Maikkhola village in Hijla upazila of Barishal.
Shamimul Islam, sub-inspector of Khilkhet Police station, confirmed the matter.
The SI also said that the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy.
