Four youths have been arrested on charge of gang-raping a 17-year-old girl after abduction in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on early morning.

The arrestees are identified as Babul alias Babu, 19, Sohel, 20, Poidul, 22 and Ramjan, 19. All are residents of Sadar and Ranishankoil upazilas.

Police arrested them from different areas after victim's mother filed a case with Sadar Police Station.

Tanvirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Thakurgaon Police Station, confirmed the matter.
