Tamim, Liton, Taijul move up in ICC Test Rankings

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal moved from 37th to 32nd while Liton Das reached 54th from 65th among batsmen in the latest the ICC Test Player Rankings, announced on Wednesday.

Tamim made 44 and 50 runs in the second Test against West Indies which Bangladesh eventually lost by 17 runs to concede a 0-2 hammering in the Test series while Liton made 71 and 22 runs in that match.

Left-arm spinner Tajiul Islam also gained five places to move to 22nd position after his eight wickets in the match.
