Almost 3,000 Rohingyas are being relocated to Bhasan Char of Noakhali from different refugee camps of Ukhia-Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar in the fourth phases.

The Rohingyas will be taken to Chattogram from the temporary transit point at the Ukhia Degree College ground from Sunday (February 14) to Monday (February 15).  

Confirming the matter, Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Shamsu Ddouza Nayan said about 3,000 Rohingyas are keen to go to Bhasan Char voluntarily. A list has been prepared to this end.
