Some 11 people have been awarded 'Bangabandhu Digital Social Innovation Award-2020' for technological social innovation recently. Like every year, Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Forum organized the event.
Chowdhury Daulat Mahmud Jafri (CEO Skill of Bangladesh), Farha Mahmud Trina (Vice President Investment Committee ECAB), B. Khandaker (President UGB), Dr. Tanjiba (President Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society), Ali Akbar Asha were present as special guests on the occasion.This year's award has been given in the name of Bangabandhu in honor of Mujib Borsha. In the two categories of Social Inclusion and Integrated Community Development, 47 people were initially nominated out of more than 600 applications in the individual and group categories. Of these, 11 have been declared the final winners. Certificates and medals were handed over to the winners. The event was held at Hangout & Live Restaurant in Purbachal. At the end of the award ceremony, this year's event ended with gorgeous live music.

The winners in the Integrated Community Development category are Mohammad Mohsin, Upma Ahmed, Mehedi Hasan, Najwa Tahsin, Anika Rokeya Rushan Reshmi and Aishwarya Sanjukta Roy Proma.
The winners in the social inclusion category are Mumtahina Anika, Fahad bin Belayet, Sajjad Hossain and Dr. Md. Rifat Al Majid and Abul Bashar Foundation.
The projects of the award winners will be mobilized and submitted to the UN SDG Global Fest in March this year. Where these socially innovative activities of the youth will be highlighted.In this regard, the founding president of the Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Forum. Ali Akbar Asha said, we hold Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Summit every year. At that conference, the importance of technological innovation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and social change was highlighted. In this conference, individuals, institutions and organizations were honored in recognition of their contribution to the social development of the country. This time the series for Corona is organized online. About 1 million people attended the online conference in 6 sessions between 11pm and 10pm. We hope that our series 'Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Summit-2021' will be held in February this year.
