Bangladesh will get 50 lakh doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute of India on Monday.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information on Sunday.Earlier on Thursday, Bangladesh received 20 lakh doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine as gift from India.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Covid-19 vaccination rollout virtually at the Kurmitola General Hospital on Wednesday.
A nurse of the hospital will be the first person to be vaccinated that day.
