Passengers from the UK will have to stay in institutional quarantine for four days instead of 14 days. The order applies to all passengers, regardless of corona test outcome, sources said.
Coming into effect on January 15, the order will continue until further notice, the Directorate of Health Services said Wednesday.Such returnees will be subjected to 10-day home quarantine following their release after four days of institutional quarantine.
Earlier, the passengers from the UK had to complete 14-day institutional quarantine.
The passengers will be sent into isolation at the government-approved hospitals from the institutional quarantine if they test positive for the coronavirus.
