Mahmuda Khanam Lily, ex-professor of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, died from coronavirus infections at a hospital in the capital on Tuesday.

Lily, 62, daughter of retired civil surgeon Dr Nuruddin, of Shaistaganj upazila in Habiganj, breathed her last at BIRDEM General Hospital in Dhaka while undergoing treatment.

Lily was undergoing treatment at the hospital after suffering from a brain stroke and later she was tested positive for the virus.
