Three people were killed as a bailey bridge collapsed with a stone-laden truck in Kutubchhari area of Sadar upazila in Rangamati on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place around 7:00am. The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The bailey bridge collapsed with the stone-laden truck when it was going to Naniarchar, leaving three dead on the spot.

Rangamati Kotwali Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Kabir Hossen confirmed the matter to media.
