The health condition of BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed has been slightly improved.
He may be shifted to cabin from coronary care unit (CCU) of the hospital where he is being treated.BNP press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.
Talking to journalist on Sunday, he said Barrister Moudud Ahmed was tested for coronavirus twice. But no infection was detected. His hemoglobin in blood has been declined. But his condition has been improved to some extent.
Moudud Ahmed is receiving treatment at CCU of Evercare Hospital in the capital under the supervision of Prof Dr Shahabuddin Ahmed Talukder.
BNP vice chairman Dr AZM Zahid Hossain is maintaining contacts with physicians round the clock.
BNP acting vice chairman Tarique Rahman and secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir along with other party leaders are enquiring about the health of Moudud Ahmed.
Meanwhile, Moudud Ahmed, the former law minister, has sought blessings of the countrymen for his recovery.
