Four people, including three members of the same family, were killed as a tuck hit an auto-rickshaw on Bheramara-Patharghata road in Bhangura upazila of Pabna on Friday noon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

The Pabna-bound speedy truck from Sirajganj hit the auto-rickshaw carrying the victims on Rangalia link road at 1:30 pm, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and its driver seriously injured, said Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhangura police station.

Later, the injured was brought to Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared him dead, he said.
