A rickshaw garage owner was found dead in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Saturday morning.

Police recovered the body of Gias Uddin, 55, son of Abdul Malek of Bhangnahati area of the upazila after being informed, Pradip Chandra Sarker, sub-inspector of Sreepur Police Station, saod

Some rickshaw pullers found the body of Gias lying in a cot inside his garage when they came to rent rickshaws around 6:00am, he said

Mentioning that the reason behind the murder could not be known immediately, the SI said the body bore several marks of stab injuries in the head.
