Seven Bangladeshi universities have secured positions among the 550 best Asian universities, according to the QS Asia University Ranking 2020. 

Among the best universities, Dhaka University picked the 134th spot.

Moreover, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) ranked 199 in the list.

However, Dhaka University went seven notches down as compared to its position (134th) in the QS Asia University Ranking 2019 while BUET, too, witnessed a major fall as it stood 175th.

The data was published on the QS Asia University Rankings website on Wednesday.
