Awami League picks Sirajul Mostafa as Religious Affairs Secretary

Sirajul Mostafa, president of Cox’s Bazar district Awami League, has been selected as the Awami League’s religious affairs secretary.

This information has been revealed through a press release on Wednesday.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, Md Faridul Haque Khan, an Awami League MP from Jamalpur-2 constituency, has taken oath as the State Minister for Religious Affairs.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at Bangabhaban at 7:00pm.

On June 14, State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md Abdullah died from coronavirus infections. He was 75.
