Seminar on Food Security and Ecosystem Management on Nov 19 at IUBAT

IUBAT Institute of SDG Studies (IISS) and RCE Greater Dhaka are going to organise a National Seminar on Food Security and Ecosystem Management in COVID-19 on November 19.

The seminar will be took place at IUBAT between at 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Zuena Aziz, Principal Coordinator (SDGs) of Prime Minister’s Office, will participate in the seminar as chief guest while Dr Kristofer Johnson, Team Leader of NRM, Food & Agricultural Organization (FAO) as as special guest and Prof. Dr. Zinaida Fadeeva of United Nations University in Japan as guest of honor.

Prof Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, will preside over the virtual program.

The seminar will be welcomed by IUBAT Treasurer and Chairperson, RCE Greater Dhaka Prof. Selina Nargis and Keynote Speech will be delivered by Prof. Dr. M. Ataur Rahman, Coordinator, RCE Greater Dhaka & Director, IISS.

Nasir Ud Daula, Director, Bangladesh Climate Change Trust; Mr. Shimul Sen Senior Assistant Chief, Planning Commission; Prof. Amzad Hossain, Curtin University, Australia; Dr. M. Rehan Dastagir, Deputy Director, IISS; Professor Dr. Mihir Kumar Roy, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, City University; Dr. Abdus Salam, Assistant Professor, Noakhali University of Science & Technology; Dr. Ferdous Ahmed Assistant Director, IISS and Dr. Sayma Akter, Assistant Professor, IISS, IUBAT will deliver their speech on this E seminar.

The seminar will discuss in detail how to meet the needs of ecological environmental resource management for food security and economic and scientific variable considerations in the COVID-19 pandemic.
