Nineteen police officers, including Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Commissioner Golam Kibria, have been transferred.

Meanwhile, Nisarul Asif has been made new commissioner of the SMP.

The Home Ministry published a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.
