Three construction workers died after falling from the tenth floor of an under-construction building in Dhanmondi area in the capital on Monday morning.

One of them deceased was identified as Shariful, 25.

Md Ikram Ali, officer-in-charge of Dhanmondi Police Station, said that the victms were working on the 10th floor of the under-construction building on a bamboo scaffold. At around 11:00 am, the scaffold collapsed, leaving Shariful dead on the spot and two others critically injured.

Later, locals took them to a hospital where duty doctor pronounced them dead, he said.
