Bashundhara Group stands by injured journo

Bashundhara Group, the country’s largest business conglomerate, has stood by senior journalist Ikram-ud-Daulah who is critically injured in a road accident.

A bus hit Banglanews24 senior correspondent Ikram in front of La Meridian Hotel in the capital’s Khilkhet on September 11.

In the critical state of life, Bashundhara Group has come up with all-out support for better treatment of the injured journalist.

The Group’s Director Sabrina Sobhan handed a cheque of Tk 3 lakh to his sister Nilima Yasmin on Sunday. The event took place in the Bashundhara Group Managing Director's residence in the capital.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Banglanews24 editor Jewel Mazhar, Bashundhara Group MD’s Chief Coordinator Muhammad Golam and his Personal Secretary Vinod P Mathew were present on the occasion.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir inquired about physical condition of the ailing journalist and assured him of continuous support.
