The guardians of the YWCA school at Green Road in the capital blocked road on Sunday morning demanding 50 percent cut of tuition fees of the students.
The guardians brought out a procession at 11:00 am in front of the school on Green Road.Earlier on July 12, they submitted a memorandum to the principal Onuvuti Sinha of the school.
More than a hundred of guardians participated in the procession and road blocking programme.
The guardians claimed that they have incurred huge losses like other peoples of the country due to corona pandemic. Some of them have lost their jobs; some are getting half of their salaries.
Considering the overall situation, they solicited kind attention of the authorities concerned by lessening 50 percent tuition fees of the students.
