A fire broke out at a multi-storey building on Kemal Ataturk Avenue in the Dhaka's Banani area on Sunday.

Eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and have been trying to extinguish the blaze till filling of this report.

However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
