BDU VC Munaz Ahmed pays homage to Bangabandhu on National Mourning Day

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU) Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor on Saturday paid homage to Bangabandhu on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day.

Professor Dr Munaz paid homage to Bangabandhu and his family members by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi No. 32 in the capital, a press release said.

After placing the wreath, VC Munaz Ahmed Noor said, “Bangabandhu is a great achievement for this nation and the country. The Bengali nation has got the opportunity to establish their right due to the qualitative leadership of Bangabandhu. The independence of the country could not be achieved if a great leader like him did not appear. Bangladesh and Bangabandhu is one and unique.”

Among others, Registrar (additional charge) Md. Ashraf Uddin, Senior System Analyst Muhammad Shahinul Kabir and other officers and employees of the university were also present on the occasion.
