Director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) Dr Meerjadey Sabrina Flora has been appointed as the new additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Health and Family Welfare Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

The order will come into effect from August 20.

Sabrina Flora will replace additional director general (planning and development) of DGHS Dr Sania Tahmina, who is scheduled to retire on August 18.
