ACC appoints IO to probe allegations against Dr Sabrina

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has appointed an investigation officer (IO) to probe allegations against Jobeda Khatun Health Care (JKG) chairman Dr Sabrina Arif Chaudhury.

ACC Deputy Director Most Selina Akhter Moni has been given task in this regard.

Earlier, the ACC took decision to investigate into the allegation against Dr Sabrina that staying in government service as a physician of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICD) and with the help of her husband, she is involved in amassing wealth beyond the known source of income, including the income of Tk 8 crore after preparing and supplying fake reports of COVID-19 based on 15,460 samples collected from various places in the country, including Dhaka.

The ACC, however, gathered information on irregularities against Dr Sabrina from various sources.
