A boat with around 50 passengers capsized in the Teesta River in Rangpur on Wednesday.

Local people said that the boat capsized in the middle of the river due to strong current. Though most of the passengers managed to swim ashore, eleven went missing.

Later, local people rescued the the missing persons in one houre effort.
