Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel has stressed the need for changing the curriculum of the universities of the country as per the demand of the industry.
He came up with the remark after attending a webinar as chief guest on ‘Resilience recovery of national economy through science and technology and innovation during post Covid-19’ organised by Bangladesh STEM (science, technology engineering and mathematics) Society.The deputy education minister said, “The entrepreneurs say on many occasions that they do not get skilled manpower and bring skilled workforce from abroad. The job seekers also say that they do not get works. So, the universities have to come forward in order to minimise the gap between entrepreneurs and job seekers. Besides, skilled manpower has to be created as per the required demand of the industries.”
