Sultanara Begum, wife of daily sun late editor Amir Hossain, died of cancer on Wednesday morning at the age of 68.

She breathed her last at around 10:45am on Wednesday while on the way to Kingston hospital at Mirpur, in the Capital, said her brother Major (rtd) Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman.

She left behind only daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Her namaz-e-janaza was held on the premises of a Masque at Mirpur DOHS in the afternoon and buried at Azimpur graveyard.
