The results of 609 students of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Chattogram Education Board (CEB) was changed after re-evaluation.
A total of 42 students passed from failed after re-evaluation their answer scripts.Of them, a student has obtained GPA-5 from fail, 41 have also passed from failed and the others have a grade change.
Controller of Examination Narayan Chandra Nath said that although the grades have not changed, the numbers of 1,235 answer sheets of 1,200 students have changed. It will help students in HSC admission on the basis of number, he added.
A total of 1,43,823 students from 1,043 educational institutions took part in the SSC examination under the Chattogram Board of Education. Of them one lakh 21 thousand 888 students have passed. The pass rate is 84.75 percent this year.
Following applications about 52,246 answer scripts from 20550 students were reexamined and found that the answer sheets of 609 students not examined properly, CEB deputy controller of examinations Tourik Alam said.
