Noted dentist and owner of Ratan’s Dental Dr Syed Tamijul Ahsan Ratan has died with Covid-19 symptoms.

He breathed his last at ICU of the Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital in the capital on early Monday.

Dr Sayanth Sakhawat, columnist and close ally of Dr Ratan, confirmed the matter to media.

He was admitted at the hospital with coronavirus symptoms on Saturday night. He was shifted to ICU as his condition was deteriorated.

His sample was collected but corona test result is yet to come.
