Gonoshasthaya Kendra Founder and Trustee Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, who recovered from Covid-19 infection last night, has paid tribute to veteran Awami League leader and former Health Minister Mohammad Nasim.

He paid the homage by placing wreaths at his grave in Banani in the capital at around 10:30am.

Zafrullah also offered jiarat and munajat for the departed soul of Mohammed Nasim.

Earlier, Nasim was laid to rest at the Banani graveyard in the capital on Sunday morning, after being awarded a guard of honour.

Dr Zafrullah tested positive for coronavirus on May 24.
